A top House Republican investigator has accused the Treasury Department of hiding information that could be damaging to Hunter Biden and is investigating if it is being done to protect President Joe Biden.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the ranking member on the House Oversight and Reform Committee, sent letters to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in May and June and argued that the Treasury Department’s new response continued to stonewall his efforts to get answers on Hunter Biden’s financial transactions linked to China, Russia, and elsewhere.

Yeah. The lefties want you to focus on the overtly partisan special prosecutor. Stop paying attention to actual evidence of crimes that they don't want you to investgate... you jerk.

Biden's DoJ changed the rules on disclosure of those shortly before the election to make it harder, if not impossible, for Congress to get them. Makes you wonder why the suddenly did that out of the blue.

Which rules were changed, my dear? You have a link?

What they did was claim that any request must be "bipartisan" and not at the request of a committee chair, individual congressman, or party like it has been since 1978 when the SAR rules first passed. The DOJ and Treasury are basically saying they can ignore the laws as written.

I asked what rules were changed, still waiting. You are just making shit up, as usual.

I just explained it to you. The previous rules said Treasury would release any SAR congress wanted to any member of congress. Now they are saying they'll only do it if there is a "bipartisan" request from a committee.

I am just wondering why you are so fixated on Hunter Biden and not the $2 billion the Trumps son in law received from the Saudi's. Thats where you hypocrisy falls into place.
