The US has seen zero movement on Immigration Reform since Reagan. I hope Abbott can move the needle on this critical issue.

Not a lawyer, but I believe Abbott is thinking through the legal issues better than DeSantis did with Martha's Vineyard.

They Democrats traded Reagan border security for amnesty. They got their amnesty then reneged on border security . You just can't trust Democrats to keep their word.

Immigration Reform is what's needed, but both Parties are so partisan they refuse to negotiate and move forward. This despite three Democrat Presidents and multiple Democrat Congresses flipping with Republicans.
