Lake sent a letter to Liz Cheney that mockingly thanked the congresswomen for her “anti-endorsement.” Cheney had weighed in on the race by urging voters to cast a ballot against her fellow Republican.
In Lakes letter to Cheney, she said donations to her campaign had skyrocketed. Lake also noted Cheney’s loss in her own election.
“Thank you again for the huge boost to our campaign! Enjoy your forced retirement from politics,” Lake said in her letter.
Cheney replied to Lake yesterday.......... “You’re welcome, @KariLake,” Cheney said in her tweet Monday.
I suspect that Liz Cheney will once again hold office probably her senate seat and possibly president when republicans realize she was right all along but Kari Lake will never hold public office for anything.

Trump will never win anything again. Fully half of his shrinking base has now deserted him and knows he is the reason their red wave turned into a dribble. If the right had nominated level headed republicans that didn't swallow Trumps election fraud lies they would now control both houses in our congress. Instead they will lose a seat in the senate and only come away with a couple seat majority in the house that isn't enough to do jack shit. I certainly hope the jackass announces today that he is running in 2024. That is if he isn't found guilty of a felony before then.

I find it odd that he never stopped campaigning after his win, during his entire reign, and after being run out of town.

I agree with this, but I also feel that Republicans really overplayed their Supreme Court hand.
If they were smart, they would have waited until after the election to overturn Roe.
They just couldn't wait to play with their shiny new toy.
That said, if they did indeed run candidates instead of buffoons, Roe might not have been as much of a factor.

We probably had this discussion shortly after trump won. The correction will come, but it will be painful.
I always said that Kaepernik was a moron. In a year that had the most important election in decades, he had the attention of the entire nation.
Instead of whoring for attention, he could have built a 'get out the vote' campaign. That would have brought out the kids on election day.
Instead, he didn't even bother to vote. Along with the nation's youth.
It's refreshing to see that they realized their folly this election, albeit way too late to fix the mess.
