Used to be shootings were as American as apple pie, now it is school shootings, Americans have even become desensitized to school shootings, now just another day in America

And the right’s solution, more guns needed, we already got more guns out there than any other developed nation in the world, which according to the huggers, should make us the safest developed nation in the world, yet we lead all developed nations in gun violence and gun homicides

A perpetual shooting gallery appears to be what the founders had in mind for America.

Despite their many failures, they certainly succeeded there.

Not the Founders, rather the NRA, aka, gun manufacturers, even as much as Scalia, Alito, and Thomas bullshit, they don’t know what the Founders had in mind, but I’d wager it wasn’t a semiautomatic weapon in everyone’s closet

Another kid shooting kids. What happened to education? We learned better.
Indeed...this is such a tragedy....the blame lies on how these young people were raised...and yes, their education.... We've got to do better... Too many Young people don't respect life...

Availability, plus easy access to gun, outweigh education, especially when emotion is involved

We had much easier access to guns. I bought my first Hi-power rifle from a gun dealer at 17, my first handgun at 18.
Years back you could buy a semi-auto M-1 Garand at a hardware store and mail order a rifle from Sears. You make senseless excuses.

Do you imagine the founders would have done something different if semi automatic weapons were available? Tell us how you know this since you claim Scalia, Amigo and Thomas don't know but you do.

I truly believe all MAGAs fantasize about the Civil War of the 1800's going the other way. That's why they want their guns. They think they're all white supremacist soldiers of lord twump.

Maybe I should really piss him off by telling him I was given my first Hi-power rifle at age 12, I just bought my first one from a gun dealer at 17

No, it's the easy access to weapons of war. It goes hand and hand with the Christian white supremacy infecting the Republican party.

5,000 JPP points says the shooter had previous mental issues but nothing was done.

I bought a 6.5MM Mannlicher Carcano carbine from Kmart just when Kresge's was first opening strip mall stores as opposed to downtown Five and Dimes.
You need to be old to remember that.

It cost nine bucks and was worth even less. As an Italian, it pains me to say that, but it's true.
I can't imagine how Oswald hit Kennedy with a piece of crap like that.

I have no trouble with anybody owning bolt action rifles--even I have a couple, nine firearms overall, although I've no use for them anymore--
but military type weapons with thirty-cartridge magazines are a different story in my view.
