All of this is what damo believes is political pragmatism. He thinks the republicans need to shut up whitey in the party to get minority votes. The truth is that that is condescending and racist itself. It assumes a minority could never empathize with a 'white' concern, and that race kowtowing is the only form of political wooing.
 
The republicans would be better off being the party of anti-elitism. Anti-bank bailout, anti-globalization, etc.

It's not "conservative" to believe your entire working class should be put out of work for corporate profit; it's just fascistic, short-sighted and stupid.

And no, it is not my "new tact"... I have stated again and again my view of what he did. I don't care why you are doing it, it was wrong to start with, it is wrong to "parody" it with relish, and it is wrong for us to defend it. The group that will try to buy the Rams plans to drop Rush Limbaugh, a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora.

Limbaugh, the conservative radio host, was supposed to be a minority part of a group led by St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checketts, but his inclusion has drawn criticism. Colts owner Jim Irsay said Tuesday that he wouldn’t vote for Limbaugh, who has made controversial comments about Eagles QB Donovan McNabb and other African-Americans. Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith also have spoken out against Limbaugh.

The current owners of the Rams might end up not selling, but they will go through the process of assessing interest in the team.
