It's Friday afternoon and control of the House of Representatives still has not been called

The rest of the world is shocked at how badly America does elections after all of those lectures we handed out over all of those decades about the importance of doing elections well.
 
In the wave elections of 2010 and 2018 we basically knew the incumbent party had been rejected in a landslide shortly after polls closed.


It's extraordinary that Biden has a 38 percent approval rating and inflation is near historic highs, and Republicans are still struggling on Friday to win a House majority.

Florida is the model for the entire country. We have a hurricane and the ballots are counted by the end of the night.

The only ones screwing up the counts in AZ are Republicans. They don't let the counters count ballots until election day.

And FL is irrelevant to the current fight going on for control of both US houses. This should have been a cakewalk for Republicans this cycle, but America spoke. We reject the lies, cruelty, and hate that has become the major plank of the Republican party.

America is so over it.

That's bullshit. The only hate and violence comes from the left, both now and historically. Riots and destruction for weeks when an election doesn't go their way.

You see, the gaslighting doesn't work on smart, astute people because they have watched it transpire for years. I saw the SWAT teams dispensed for W's inaugurations and rest of the violence and riots. Leftist trash always riot and destroy society because they are the lowest common denominator, the dregs of society.

They are cheating right now -- finding "votes". Another illegitimate election. You know it is. I surely do.

So, what you're doing is what lost you the election. More propaganda, more lies. Democrats are not the violent ones. I don't want to hurt anyone. What I want is a country where politicians don't attack our institutions and spew hatred and lies all the time. America spoke loud and clear this week they want the same.

How long have you been following politics? I've followed it closely probably over 20 years.

It was never the right foisting destruction and riots on the public - it was always the LEFT.

No one was more divisive or spewed more hatred than Obama, he pitted one American against the other via race, class and anything else.

Smart, aware people know - and so do you. Repeating that America is tired of something that never happens just doesn't work with the intelligent.

Ask yourself this - if Republicans are so honorable, why do they need to lie, cheat and try to steal when they lose elections?

Yup - democrats always win the close ones. In the last few days the dems have picked up somewhere around 10 house seats and the repubs just 1 or 2. Repubs should be screaming about this blatant cheating.

Isn't Florida the state where the governor changed the election rules from what was written by the legislature and then won reelection? Isn't that supposed to be a bad thing and proof of fraud?

It’s the irregularities of how the votes are counted. There are states that don’t allow mail in ballots to be counted early, it’s really stupid.
