Actually it is more complex than that. I would really want the Republicans reject lies, fear and emotion as reasons to vote, but I know that will not happen so I prefer Trump get the nomination for two reasons...

1) We already know Biden can shellac him.
2) If he manages to pull out a win, he cannot get as much accomplished as a more intelligent DeSanctimonious would be able to accomplish.

The pandemic is better because of the vaccines that trump facilitated the development in record time in. Domestic travel is because of lessening pressure from the pandemic because of the Trump vaccine. More people are becoming employed because of lessening pressure from the pandemic because of the Trump vaccine.
