MORE right-wing political violence. 1930s Germany, here we come.

Ok then tell me, other than a raised arm which you said doesn't make someone's fascist, what makes trump and his supporters fascists.

Telling a fascist organization to "stand by" in response to a question about if you will accept a potential election loss, is FASCIST.

I'll use Umberto Eco's Ur Fascism as a guideline. In it, he lists 14 points that often are involved in fascist movements. Not every single one of these applies to Trump himself, but certainly to modern American conservatism especially in relation to "Trumpism" or MAGA.

You'd be forgiven for thinking this was written as a reaction to Trump's presidency, but it was actually written in the early 90s. Some of it is just absolutely spot on.

I posted this in response to you in another thread but because I've got time I'll go over it point by point. Editing the message as I go so bear with me.

1. Cult of Tradition could easily be paralleled by today's hard line evangelical right. It could also be exemplified in MAGA, trying to proclaim some fictional past as being universally better than today, or even the cult-like devotion to Trump himself and the shitty behavior he promotes (misogyny, hurting or cheating people that "deserve it')

2. This one's easy, and spread all throughout conservatism. The obvious hatred towards non-traditional sexual orientations, hatred of increased representation in media, to the promotion of a "traditional" family unit with stay-at-home wives et al.

3. Action for action's sake is pretty broad, and could be more of just a human flaw, but Trump and MAGA both will go out of their way to make decisions based on gut feelings and not based on reality or reason. It's part of the basis for conspiracy theories that there CAN'T be a simple explanation for something so action must be taken in opposition to reason for action's sake.

4. Another human flaw perhaps but all too often someone in MAGA claim someone is a "traitor" and hints to how traitors should be punished. MTG even had to explain her reason for saying that about Nancy Pelosi under oath.

5. Yes, another human flaw but all too easily taken advantage of by the current alt-right movement. Replacement theory, hatred of immigrants and asylum seekers, hatred of LBGTQ+, and now the Jews again (classics never die I guess).

6. Hitler blamed Jews, Trump and MAGA will blame anyone or anything that's convenient. Most of the time it's thinly veiled racism but there's also general hatred for anyone that leans slightly left. They claim America isn't "great" because they're not in complete control, "they" being mostly white males in the MAGA movement.

7. Do I really have to explain this one? LMAO

8. This has been a running theme for each political opponent since at least Obama. In one breath Obama, Hillary, or Biden can go from being so frail or stupid they're unfit to be in office or such an evil mastermind that they have to be stopped at all costs. "Libs are soy boy beta cucks! Better get an AR-15 so I can defend myself from them!"

9. Admittedly pretty broad, examples of this on the right and left.

10. A big staple of the right currently. Hatred for anyone deemed as weak, coming from people who are clearly just terribly insecure about themselves. A big aspect of toxic masculinity, you don't have value unless you're "strong".

11. A specific example of this is the wolf/sheep mentality being spread through our police departments and to any dumbass with enough money to buy a gun.

12. Pretty self explanatory.

13. Dumbasses thinking MAGA is "half the population" for instance. It's not even close. MAGA is fringe.

14. Trump's vocabulary aside, trying to simplify any issue into a slogan is very prevalent on the right. Calling anyone "groomer", "China virus" "Fauci ouchie", etc.

"often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition" - Merriam-Webster.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fascism

There are several definitions but lets go with the above.

January 6 was a group of Nationalists who were trying to subvert the Constitutional process of establishing the democratically elected leader in order to instead anoint Donald Trump dictator and autocratic ruler. They were trying to forcibly opress the opposition using weapons, and the leaders acknowledge they were hoping Trump would activate the military to come in on their side.

Donald Trump the one they were trying to appoint supports strict social regimentation by opposing protest movements (unless they support him) and opposing the legitimacy of those who are not within the social norm (homosexuals and other minorities).

The rioters often mention that they expected Trump to declare martial law then they could use the police and military to appoint Trump to lead the nation.

The support of appointing a leader who was not elected and the attempt to subvert the Constitutional process by which the elected president is placed in office is a fascist move.
The attempt by a leader to stay in power, knowing he had lost an election, is fascist in nature.

Well at least you tried this time I'll give you that.

They didn't try very hard to subvert the constitution did they? And trump didn't declare martial law even though he had the full power and authority to do so. What it comes down to is you have a trespassing situation and you're trying to turn it into fascism. Now i know to people like you things are true because you think they are true but to normal people we deal with things as they are and not how we think they are.

Mussolini was all about efficiency. Democracy is a slow, deliberative process.

Where's the POLICE REPORT?

"Mr. Ringer said he couldn’t provide police with much of a description of the man."

IMAGINE THAT. Get ready for daily "reports of being attacked" from the desperate, about to be kicked to the curb, DEMTHUGS/

It's more likely to come in the form of vague claims of "threats." You know, My security staff says I'm being threatened by (unspecified) radical Right extremists...

A candidate for a Pennsylvania house seat has been attacked at his home following two incidents of vandalism.

https://www.post-gazette.com/news/e...-seat-assaulted-election/stories/202210310087

That's nothing compared to what happened to Scalise and other Republicans playing a ball game and attacked by the loony Sanders Democrat with an AR 15.

You dipshits have no moral high ground to stand on when it comes to lunatics attacking for political reasons. You dumb fucks looked the other way when your beloved BLM rioters burned and looted your cities.

Get back to us when you have something more credible to play hypocrite with. This story doesn't even identify who the perps are. Hearsay and hyperbole are all lying democrats and their brain-dead constituents have. I wish you weren't stupid. Really I do. :palm:

THis is escalating and anyone who has studied pre-nazi Germany can see clear parallels. Its textbook fascism rising.

We saw the parallel when Biden gave his asinine divisive lie filled speech in Philadelphia dipshit.
"MAGA Republicans don't just threaten our personal rights and economic security," "They are a threat to our very democracy. They refuse to accept the will of the people. They embrace — embrace — political violence. They don't believe in democracy."

We see the Parallel when Biden's administration colludes with social media sites to censure any criticism of their dumb, economy destroying policies.

We see the parallel when Schumer threatens supreme Court justices from the steps of the court with wild eyed leftist sycophants cheering and chanting.

We see the parallel when Maxine Waters declares that leftist sycophants should get in their faces and harass them where they eat.

You lowlife lying losers on the left have ZERO self-awareness, don't you? I guess that takes some grey matter between your ears which is something woefully lacking with leftist hacks like you. :palm:

It would require you to actually have read something about world history. If you are willing to read a big book without a lot of pictures and absolutely no coloring in it, I would recommend "The Dark Valley".

You can have one of your parents read it to you and explain the bigger words and the "concepts".

 Smarmy, smug dipshit thinks he's smart.
