There are several definitions but lets go with the above.

January 6 was a group of Nationalists who were trying to subvert the Constitutional process of establishing the democratically elected leader in order to instead anoint Donald Trump dictator and autocratic ruler. They were trying to forcibly opress the opposition using weapons, and the leaders acknowledge they were hoping Trump would activate the military to come in on their side.

Donald Trump the one they were trying to appoint supports strict social regimentation by opposing protest movements (unless they support him) and opposing the legitimacy of those who are not within the social norm (homosexuals and other minorities).

The rioters often mention that they expected Trump to declare martial law then they could use the police and military to appoint Trump to lead the nation.

First off, if we were to ping pong on numbers alone the right attacks on left leaning figures would be immensely higher

Secondly, to deal with the ones you provided, Scalise’s shooter can not be traced back directly to any rhetoric Democrat politician offered, can’t say the same for Pelosi’s. Paul, as much as the MAGA militia attempt to reframe it, was attacked by his neighbor over a yard dispute, again wasn’t inspired by rhetoric coming from the left. And just how serious was Kavanaugh’s case, the guy was picked up blocks from his house and even called the police ahead of time telling them he was coming.

You can try again, but based on this effort, why bother

So we are back where we started. The raised arm doesn't make someone fascist but if they do it "in that way" they are already fascist but we still don't know what a fascist is according to you.

The support of appointing a leader who was not elected and the attempt to subvert the Constitutional process by which the elected president is placed in office is a fascist move.
The attempt by a leader to stay in power, knowing he had lost an election, is fascist in nature.
