Not to be TMI but I sleep in boxers. If someone broke into my place in the middle of the night that's what I would be wearing. I've not read anything about the attacker being in his underwear but he was a nudist and this is San Francisco. We have a lot of mentally ill/drugged out people here. They don't dress or act like most "normal" people.
I read Pelosi called 911 and put the phone down (while still connected to 911) so the person on the other end could hear what was going on. If someone crazy broke into my house with a hammer looking to attack me I might do/say anything to help stop it.
