A smarter way forward for real conservatives, for America

I don't disagree with Mott, even though I don't believe that everyone who used the term "messiah", "the one" is a racist, and I don't believe that is what Mott was suggesting.

Here's the stupid part brother .. YOU KNOW there are many racists on your side of the fence who hate and stand against Obama bevause he's black.

You may be silly at times .. but you ain't stupid brother. You KNOW they are there.

"See no evil" ain't working.

Question: You aren't a racist .. so why not call them out?

But what about those racists, on your side of the fence, that voted for Obama, just because he is black??
OH-WAIT, that never happened.

a racist element?.....a handful....certainly no more than those blacks who view every white person with prejudice....it balances out.....

there are plenty of reasons to hate Obama's liberal policies without wasting time arguing about race......

Obama is NOT a liberal .. but I agree that there are many good reasons to oppose some of his policies without wasting time arguing about race .. but you cannot make those arguments while standing next to and supporting blatant racism without being called a racist.

Lots of people are making sane arguments about OBama's policies and are not being called a racist because they don't align themselves with racists AND they reject racism when they see it.

That's the difference.

You should reject racism when you see it.

Obviosly we have very different definitions of racism. While many, black and white, voted for Obama because he's black, that hardly amounts to any hate of anyone. They didn't vote for Obama because they hate white people. Many had voted for Clinton and a life of voting for white candidates. They recognize the ungodly history of racism in this country and many voted for a mythical "post-racial America", not against white people.

When Rev. Wright seemingly went too far .. he was rejected, and not just by Obama and white supporters.

It is racist to vote FOR someone based on his race. Just as it's racist to vote AGAINST someone based on race. Your hypocrisy and double standards are astounding. The sad thing is I think you believe your own lies.

No you don't. You support discrimination against white males. You're one of the biggest race haters I know, a complete hypocrite.

Anyone constantly whining about "discrimination against white males" .. in a coiuntry dominated by white males .. is a fool brother.

It's as silly as your argument about affirmative action .. which mostly benefits white women.

I've spent more than enough time with you on silly shit.

... go talk to someone else.

So your definition can only be based on hate and as long as the racism is not "hateful", then it's understandable??

That's funny, coming from someone who brings up race and racism more then anyone else on this site.

Maybe "thou should remove the beam, from thine own eye first".

I can say it freely, if I can associate it with your name....Obama has managed to outspend not only the Bush deficit of the last eight years, but the combined national debt of every president who's ever been elected.....and he's managed to do it in only eight months....as I recall, excessive spending is one of the things that Obama criticized to win the election.....along with ending the war and closing Guantanamo......even SNL recognizes ineptitude when it see it, why can't you?......
You not only dont' have credibility, you can't even tell the truth. The national debt has gone up from 5 trillion (most of that under Reagan and Bush I) to 10 Trillion under Bush II. That's 5 Trillion dollars of debt that occurred under Bush. Under Obama there's been about 1.4 trillion in debt added. Most of that occurred due to the 2008 economic meltdown under Bush. Additionally the TARP funds were approved under Bush even if they have been spent by the Obama administration. So In reality very little of our national debt is presently due to Obama.

So you either don't know what your talking about or are being dishonest or your just drinking the Kool-aid.

I can't speak for the RW, but I would agree that while McCain would certainly have been a huge upgrade over Bush, many policy positions would not have changed. I never stated anything was going well... I think the fact that Bush screwed so many things up is the reason so many on the left fell so hard for Obama.

I do believe it was indeed 'snarky'/sarcastic etc.... as many on the left became infatuated with the man. I admit, he is a very charismatic individual and to a degree I can see why people flocked to his side in support. The 'Messiah' and 'The One' etc... were mocking, not Obama, but his supporters who bought into his message so heavily that it was nauseating. That said, it wasn't done because of Obama's race as Mott suggested. THAT said, I am not implying that there aren't racists in the Rep Party (or on the right). I am simply stating that these were not racist code words as Mott stated.
If not, then how comes no one has referred to other charismatic politcal leaders, such as Bill Clinton or JFK or George W. Bush as, "The One" or "The Messiah"? How comes these appelations are just now being applied to a charismatic BLACK political leader? To say that these terms do not have racist overtones defies reason.

I would say the mindless adulation is above and beyond any of those others and is why he's sarcastically called the messiah.

Even other libtards have denied that the messiah reference is about racism.

Give it up, moron. If that's your Big Example of racist code language, there is obviously no racist code language going on.

apparently you ignore reality....
In a report next week, the Obama administration will increase its 10-year budget deficit projection to roughly $9 trillion
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/08/21/official-obama-increase-year-deficit-trillion/

even Obama admits that the total that will be added to the national debt due to the spending he has done this year will be $9 trillion....and that's if he doesn't spend another penny for the rest of his term.....
when he took office the national debt was around $10trillion....thus, he's managed to double it in just eight months.....

Actually, you are incorrect... the Katrina song (while idiotic) was singing the praises of the leadership in DC (again Idiotic)... it was not just directed to Bush. It was Bush, Congress and FEMA... ie... the entire leadership in DC. Again, while idiotic in its own right, it is not the same.
At least it wasn't at school, and it is the reason that I don't complain about the one with the little girl starting singing the solo. That was at somebody's house. I wouldn't do that to my kids, but other people indoctrinate their kids into their opinions regularly.

Really? Would you care to qualify that comment? I do seem to remember a certain white politician stating that he was "Called by God to lead this nation." and how that statement was so enthusiastically supported by his followers.....but none of them or his political opponents called him "The One" or "The Messiah".

I also note how it's many of these same folks who call him that that also called him muslim and also reject his status as a US citizen.

I mean OH NO, none of these folks would never, ever think Obama is an uppity niger. Yea right! Keep hitting that crack pipe and drinking the kool-aid. I know better.
