I'm not an oil guy so I don't pretend to know all the in's and out's that go on here but we know Biden went to Saudi Arabia with the basic hope of getting them to provide more oil. Clearly seems that isn't happening. Did he just not do a good enough job convincing them? Or do the Saudi's have some long game strategy at play here and no persuasion from America would have changed?

yes he did and that was foolish as they ALWAYS dial back production when recession curbs demand. They are in this business to make a buck so lower oil prices cross that up.

no special long game, just paying the bills. but boy are they happy that Biden hamstrung US production as it returns control back to them.
