F—ck Off!

Lmfao. You don't know the first thing about me and my relationship with my neighbors but when has lack of information ever prevented a leftist from saying something that's completely retarded. That's for reminding us.

It's obvious you're an asshole.

How long should theAmerican people pay for Ukraine’s war?

This isn't just Ukraine's war. This is a war to block Putin and his cronies' aggression. If he had taken over Ukraine, Moldova would be next IMO. The more he got away with, the more he would not stop. I say Putin because I seriously doubt that most Russians are all in on this. They just want to live their lives in peace like anybody else.
By chance I happened to play golf with a pretty Russian gal on a work permit while I wa in CA on a recent vacation. During the round she got a text from her brother that had just escaped to Finland. We had kept quiet about the war until then and after that text she went into a tirade about how much she hated Putin, how he had fucked up Russia , how Russia could be a wealthy and prosperous country with their education system and resources, blah, blah, etc.
This war is almost 100% about Putin and his narcissistic believe that he could make Russia a great empire and go down in history as one of the great Russian leaders.

If Putin were really smart he could've played and taken advantage of a good relationship with the West and with China.
He must be stopped and Ukraine has him on his heels. Stopping now would pull the rug out from under what is surprisingly much better progress than I imagined last Feb. 24.

We have a vested interest in the war too. We cannot allow there to be world in which stronger nations take the territory of their neighbors by military force, especially when emerging democracies are the victim.

I am no fan of Musk.
But I think he made a good suggestion.

BTW - the following is his proposal:

'Ukraine-Russia Peace:

- Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people.

- Crimea formally part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake).

- Water supply to Crimea assured.

- Ukraine remains neutral.'

Ukrainian diplomat responds to Musk’s peace proposal: ‘f— off’

Ukrainian diplomat Andriy Melnyk told billionaire Elon Musk to “f— off” after the SpaceX and Tesla CEO proposed Ukraine give up some territory and hold new elections in contested regions to end the war with Russia.

Musk tweeted out a poll on Monday asking respondents to weigh in on his proposal to end the war:

Good for him "floating" the idea.

You really think Ukraine is going to take the Crimea back from Russia????

I asked how long should we foot the bill for Ukraine's war. 1 year 2 years 20 years?

Neville chamberlain thought he made a great suggestion by giving Nazi Germany part of Czechoslovakia's sovereign territory.

Most historians say he had no choice. He had to buy time for the British to build up their military strength.

Reports are that one of the conditions of us sending UKraine hundreds of billions of dollars in war aid and reconstruction funds is that there must be no negotiated peace. American leadership is really that reckless.

I have never seen any legitimate survey provings that "most" historians believe that. It strikes me as revisionist history to rescue Chamberlain's reputation, and in 25 years on the internet I never heard anyone tell this story about Chamberlain until the last six months

I tend to agree with you but it fair to ask how long we should tote the note for Ukraine and shouldn't Biden be twisting Germany and France's etc arm more to make sure they are paying their fair shares and not just leaning on the American tax payer. Nevertheless Musk is a HUGE tax payer and I think he should be treated with respect even if you as a diplomat have a different opinion. If the diplomat has that little respect for Musk he would even have less for you or me.

So you agree we have a vested interest in enforcing a world order where aggressor states cannot take land from neighboring democracies by military force.

That is a principle we should defend forever, not just for one year.

Putin is not going to fight for five or ten years. He doesn't have the economic, social or political capacity to wage total war for that long.

We just have to outlast him until he is either defeated on the battlefield, or is forced to sue for peace on terms acceptable to the Ukranians
