Protocol is that the Governor contacts the President to request aid. President Biden had readied his team in preparation for DeSantis requests. DeSantis was wrong to complain the President hadn’t called him. DeSantis is a governor, Biden is the President. DeSantis is the one who initiates the call.

Agree. While I'm dreaming for an official statement condemning DeSantis' waste of money on a political stunt...citing the gross waste of money that Fla. now desperately needs...instead I got a boring high end professional response. A pre planned action, instead of a reaction.

No tweets about how 'they should thank me' for following basic protocols.
