Ian has already crossed where those rigs are. After the storm passes, the oil companies will bring their workers back, they will clean up any damage or mess (probably minimal in most cases), and go back to pumping oil. You should probably look at map of where those wells are. Don't use the link in the earlier post. It's the wrong map.

Hurricane Ian has weakened to a Category 3 storm with maximum sustained winds of 125 mph, according to the 7 p.m. ET update from the National Hurricane Center.

The storm is expected to weaken further as it continues to push further inland in Florida. Still, dangerous winds gusts of more than 100 mph have recently been reported.

I figured a fellow Architect wouldn't let me down....but still curious why Sybil ran off. Usually he leaves a half a dozen or more drive-bys before leaving for the next forum....or work in his manifesto. LOL
