Actually they moved to Florida for a reason. If Trump were to be sued in NY they can take away his assets for repayment. In Florida your home is secure it can't be taken away from you.

To be clear, Mar-a-Lago is a resort and hotel. Only the actual Trump residence would be protected IMO.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Trump lost control of the resort and the new owners built a wall between Mar-a-Lago and the residence? Trump would finally get his Wall. LOL

You could re correct I wouldn't know, but the entire estate would be his, I assume the club would have to close down but he would still own the entire property. Just a guess. He could sell it and buy another home in Florida if it's too big for him.

Good point. But I stand behind what I said that if any trump showed up at a NY restaurant or event they'd be booed out of the city.
