(CNN)Marnette Gordon was doing laundry at home in Minneapolis one summer morning last year when a call came from her 36-year-old son.

She figured her son, Telly Blair, was checking in to see if she wanted a soda from a gas station down the street, where he often went for fuel and snacks.
"Mom, I've been shot," he said. "Call the police!"
Marnette, her other son Tamarcus and his 12-year-old daughter rushed to the gas station from their home in the city's north side, a part of town long beset by violent crime.

In June of 2020, nine of the Minneapolis City Council's 13 members stood on a stage adorned with an oversized sign saying "DEFUND POLICE."

Volsrock always tries to paint blue cities in a bad light compared to red cities…

Now, for the rest of the story. In a report Third Way recently released, we found that murder was much more prevalent in red states than blue states. That’s right. In 2020, homicide rates were a stunning 40 percent higher in the 25 states that former President Donald Trump won compared to the 25 won by current President Joe Biden. Of the 10 states with the highest 2020 per capita murder rates in America, eight of them not only voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, they voted Republican in every presidential election this century.

Of course. Its because we actually know how to fire a weapon properly. Hint.....thats not holding a pistol SIDEWAYS. The blue city dumbfucks can aim at someones head 20 feet away and instead hit some old woman crossing the street in the ass.

My son and I were heavy into paint ball. One day several gangbangers showed up rented equipment. In the heat of one match a gangster stood up and held his rented paintball gun sideways gangster style and started firing away. The paintball hoppers are gravity fed and don't feed when turned on their side. He was just firing CO2 and no paint-balls. I lit him up :rofl2: Go back to the hood!

Takeaways from the article:

1) The police were NOT defunded
2) The pandemic was a huge factor in increased crime.
3) Massive exodus of the force depleted the numbers significantly.
4) Police intentionally won’t go into certain areas.

St Louis has had a Democratic mayor since 1949 u stupid fuck and went for Biden 80%!
Yes, you are correct, I misread the paragraph on their elected official. Thank you for pointing out my error in such a mature manner. Do carry on now. Smoochie whoochie.

It's wrong. We should fund the police, especially training.

Not all Democrats feel that way, I'd never vote to reduce funds to any law enforcement agency. They're the ones protecting us from MAGA idiots with guns.

The MAGA-idiots will argue all the crime occurs in "blue cities" ignoring the fact cities exist WITHIN STATES RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR HEALTH AND SAFETY! :)
