Republicans Won’t Commit to Accepting Election Results

It did until it was ruled unconstitutional.
The Constitution does not explicitly say that the Legislature cannot extend absentee voting to others.
However, Republican challengers say the constitution intended that absentee voting be strictly limited, citing a passage that says voters must live in an election district for at least 60 days where they "shall offer to vote."
In the opinion, the three Republican judges agreed, saying that passage had been cited in two prior state Supreme Court decisions invalidating laws passed in 1839 and 1923 to expand absentee voting.
The dissenting Democrats say a separate provision of the constitution empowered lawmakers to provide no-excuse mail-in voting. That provision says elections "shall be by ballot or by such other method as may be prescribed by law."

can you give us an example of the party the passed the Civil Rights Act voting against race equality?......

Sure. All anti-voting bills and anti-lgbt legislation is passed by Republicans. Pence tried to do it has governor before he was tapped for VP and had to reverse the law that employers could legally fire you for being gay. All "bathroom bills", banning people from restrooms if they were born a different gender? Those are all GOP-sponsored bills.

The GOP is nothing but a racist party with power. Very dangerous.

.

hate to obvious, but "anti-lgbt" legislation wouldn't be racist......

there is no such thing as an "anti-voting" bill....

so, back to the original question......got anything real?....

The PA election was ruled constitutional.

The WI procedures were deemed unlawful, not unconstitutional.

Got any more?

the WI procedures were deemed to have violated the US constitution in that unlike PA, the procedures were not approved by the legislature.......the same is true of a dozen states.......so yes, there are lots more, thanks for asking.......

Wrong again. The WI procedures were deemed ILLEGAL by the WI Supreme Court, not unconstitutional. That’s because the guidance given by the WI Election Commission, which is given authority by their legislature, to the county clerks weren’t specifically mentioned in law.

For instance, the law reads that ballots must be returned by mail or “in person” to the county clerk. The court ruled that a secure drop box just steps outside the clerk’s office did not meet the standard of “in person”.

Whoop-de-fucking-do.

BTW, what are those dozen states and the rulings?

I'm sorry.....were you under the mistaken opinion that you know more law than the WI supreme court........

WI Supreme Court says drop boxes are “unlawful”.

https://will-law.org/wisconsin-supreme-court-holds-absentee-ballot-drop-boxes-unlawful/

“Ballot drop boxes appear nowhere in the detailed statutory system for absentee voting. WEC’s authorization of ballot drop boxes was unlawful…”

Return whatever bogus law degree you claim to possess.

state legislatures did not decide covid changes in all cases.

the constitution is clear on that.

and on the pennsylvania, a court decided it was unconstitutional.

you lost. accept the results.

How many times do you have to be told that the PA Supreme Court ruled it constitutional LAST MONTH?
