A bill from 2000 and one from 2007 that never had a chance in hell of passing. Why would you be hearing much about them? I am guessing you did not bother to read your links.

Doesn't matter......gunners want to own, buy, transfer guns without any gov't regulation or oversight. Hell, they don't like the current gun laws. So just the mere proposal of new gun laws just set them off, screaming facism....while they have no problem with their telephone companies turning over records to gov't security agencies with NO probable cause or accountability to the citizens of America through their congressional representatives. Go figure.

Not much in the Constitution about "telephone companies turning over records to gov't security agencies"....but its damn plain what the Second Amendment has meant for well over 200 years.....
Personally, I don't really give a shit if Obama has an interest in me calling Pizza Hut or Sears, or whoever....

Most of the Dems learned their lesson on going too far with gun control. There is no uproar, because one was a bill from 2000 and the other has not made it out of committee and more than likely will not. This spam and people like yourself only cause others to tune out legitimate warnings.
 
The Discovery Channel just had a two part series on the Gangs in Oakland and it referenced the thousands of illegal guns on the streets in the O-A-K. Why spend so much time going after legal gun owners and instead go after all this illegal bullsh*t?

I don't own a gun and have only held one in my life. Why try to restrict my right to own one and not do shit about mother fucking gangsters or wanna be gangstas on the street who's illegally packing?

Go read the Amendments, you stupe. Then go read the SCOTUS rulings over the years regarding what proof of probable cause, and the 72 hour grace period regarding FISA. You need to stop distorting what gun control is....it's not "going after" legal gun owners, because if you own a gun NO ONE IS TAKING IT AWAY FROM YOU. The people who bitched and moaned that they were being told that their AK-47 were no longer legal have access to a plethora of handguns, rifles, shotguns..

Great, so when the ATF asks for more leverage with the military and private import industries to keep tabs on their shipments, you should be right there rallying for them, and demonizing the stonewall tactics by the forementioned groups against the ATF jurisdiction. When States PROVE that the illegal guns showing up on street crimes are being bought in other states with lesser or lax gun laws, then you should be right there screaming bloody murder to make the effort to keep the thugs from easier access. If you don't, then you can't complain.

I moved out of Oakland long ago to SF so for the most part what goes on there doesn't bother me other than my sister and niece living there. Fortunately they live in a safer part of Oakland but safety and Oakland is kind of an oxymoron. So since I don't care about guns enough to really study up on all the laws I'll stop complaining about all the murder and violence in Oakland and the use of illegal weapons.
