She has been the queen all of my 70 years of life. I have always loved and admired her like she was a relative.

My heart goes out to the Great Britain people, the royal family, and her fans around the world, and I wish King Charles a lot of Good Luck and Success!

I was reading awhile back that the ones who want the monarchy to collapse have been waiting for this day before making their big push. She was just too popular. That is not a problem with Charles for sure.
 
So who will head the big push to overthrow the monarchy? The new Prime Minister Liz Truss or the Leader of the Opposition Keir Starmer?

Truss wouldn't want to and Starmer wouldn't be such a fool.

End of story, I think. But we'll see.
 
Attempts to remove the English monarchy would result in a second civil war.
What they need to do, imo, is to confine the monarchy to England . Release the Scots and offer the Welsh the same opportunity.
After all- they did have kings and queens of their own.

The ones who say that the family must pay for the vast sins of previous generations of the family, they can not remain wealthy and revered....the angry resentful types.

We now live with mob rule, leaders are not required.
