New Mexico bars commissioner from office for insurrection

It's interesting that the judge based his ruling on the fact that Griffin was convicted of a misdemeanor charge of trespassing (being on the Capitol grounds but never entering the building) and served 14 days in jail. Apparently, in the judge's mind--that's a stretch here--trespassing equals insurrection, something Griffin was not charged with, and on that basis could deprive him of a constitutional (both state and federal) right for life.

Talk about an about an absolute travesty of justice! I'm wondering just what evidence of "insurrection" the judge had...

By the way, the judge, Mathew, is a Democrat, went to an Ivy League school, and was elected to the office in a heavily Democrat run state.

Liars like you will never understand truth.

Not "political enemies". CRIMINALS WHO TOOK AN ACTIVE PART IN A TERRORIST INSURRECTION, ASSHOLE.

I'd keep trying to explain the difference, but you're such an idiot, it would be a huge waste of time.

So...Democrats then. All Democrats should be removed from office on this basis.

We need to purge all the fascist fucks who think they can invalidate the will of the democratic majority.

You obviously have no clue. You don't know what 'fascism' means, you think Democrats are the majority, and you think that somehow people that protest the coup by Democrats and violence in America cities by Democrats are 'insurrectionists'.

Yes, they "trespassed" into Capitol cop's heads with flagpoles and fire extinguishers, they "trespassed" as they smashed windows, sent all the congress people including your hero, Josh Holley running for their lives.

Fuck off with your revisionist history troll, no one's buying your load here.

Inversion fallacy. it was and is Democrats that attack the police.

"The irony of Mr. Griffin's argument that this Court should refrain from applying the law and consider the will of the people in District Two of Otero County who retained him as county commissioner against a recall effort as he attempted to defend his participation in a mob whose goal, by his own admission, was to set aside the results of a free election by the majority of the people of the entire country (the will of the people) has not escaped this court," he added.

There was no election for President in 2020. The President is not elected by popular vote. This judge does NOT KNOW THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

Excellent. This has been my point for a while now. If you are a traitor, you have no place at the table. The language of the 14th Amendment is clear. Traitors cannot hold any public office. Which is exactly as it should be.

So...no Democrats can hold public office.

You must know more about my state than I do. How is Governor Grisham doing a bad job?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Condoning the murder of children. Calling the economic depression a 'great economy'. Implementing racist directives (to prevent racism, of course!). Blaming ill-maintained infrastructure on 'global warming'. Shall I go on?

It was Democrats that conducted a successful (so far) coup as well. As the judge supports The Oligarchy, he should remove himself from office.

A New Mexico judge has ruled Couy Griffin be immediately removed from his seat on the Otero County Commission for violating a clause that prohibits people who have committed an insurrection from holding public office.

The decision marked the first time since 1869 that someone was removed from public office for violating a clause in the 14th Amendment that was intended to keep former Confederates from holding elected positions, according to a press release from Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which was part of the plaintiffs’ legal team.

How many more Trumpanzees are going to lose their political careers over Donald Trump?

Name just one of Trump's Cabinet members or White House Staff members that has been rehired and now working again in any legitimate political position.

Most of his staff are now writing books revealing all about what a MAN BABY Trump is, and how he corrupted his staff and demanded their loyalty or how he would just replace them for someone who was willing to lie and cover for Donald Trump!

Donald Trump ruins, disgraces, and corrupts everything he touches!
