Your article is over a year old, and in hindsight the Afghanistan withdrawal doesn't look like the epic clusterfuck for the ages Trump cultists were desperate for us to believe.

My proof? Republicans aren't even campaigning on the Afghan withdrawal in any measurable way.

The Ukraine experience has also shown the credibility of the west in uniting against a common dangerous foe. So now that we have one year hindsight, the credibility of the west to confront common threats has been fortified.

And Trump cultists practically guaranteed me that Americans would be hunted, kidnapped, and beheaded in Afghanistan. It never happened. Why not??

The bolded has LONG been debunked. I don't know why people keep repeating it.

We left weapons and equipment - but nothing "sophisticated." Most of it was outdated, and most was disabled. To retrieve it would have cost lives.

Americans didn't leave any of their high end military equipment in Afghanistan. The United States military is not generally capable of that level of operational incompetence.

The Afghan National Army that Trump spent four years equipping and supposedly training walked away from their equipment.

Trump cultists spent all of August and September 2021 screaming that Americans were going to be hunted, kidnapped, and beheaded because of Biden.
