Arabic 'In God We Trust' signs headed to Texas schools — a law requires that they be

True, but it was a reaction against a stupid right-wing law from legislators trying to buy votes for pushing patriotism and religion on the population. Conservatives favor smaller government and liberty but in practice vote for just the opposite.

That should be a decision made by individual schools/districts. Dictating what signs to display is dictatorship from the top.

No, it is Leftists hating on anything they disagree with. No debate, no facts, just hate. This time in the form of what amounts to the equivalent of juvenile toilet humor.

Texas is the most diverse State in the nation.

Heck, the whole South is 10X more diverse than the white northern lib States.

The law was not passed by leftists but conservative Republicans. What was their motivation if not hating on something they disagree with. Students are free to express all the patriotism and religion they choose in schools--it should not be mandated.

Right, so it does not need the legislature to mandate what they have to display. The diversity will show itself and is already doing so.

I have not read the letter of the law. It does sound silly tho. I assume the law had to be passed to permit a generic religious display, .. because of federal involvement in education.

Someone can't just send a million posters and the Schools have to put them up, can they? ... I assume the law must have a clause than puts limits on that kind of thing.

And the Arabic script may inspire a few students to study middle eastern languages.

Same with any other languages.

I don't think there can be a religious display of any kind. This is just the national motto and not religious in the eyes of the supporters and a violation of the establishment clause by the critics.

I don't know the details of the law. They will probably say only if donated by somebody in the state.

What does that have to do with the juvenile humor the Left is attempting to use to denigrate this law? It would have been much funnier to use a made up, but widely recognized, language like Klingon. That would be funny.

False analogy in the form of a red herring. My denigrating the quality of Leftist humor has nothing to do with restricting them from spewing it.

You're the one devoid of humor and cannot see the irony. The "Leftist" has nothing to do with this. You should be agreeing that religions and languages have equal representation in public school. That is the whole point of irony.
