You want us to force Ukraine to surrender territory? They tried that in the Munich Agreement, and it did not end well. Russia has already had seven agreements where they were given something to leave Ukraine alone, and they have broken every agreement.

Ukraine has agreed to peace talks. Beyond that it is up to them what they are willing to give up. Russia has refused peace talks, and has made unreasonable demands.

If we demand Ukraine make major concessions, Russia will use that as a starting point. And will continue attacking anyway. We are not allies of Russia. It is not our job to get concessions for Russia.

Failed in what ?

He's reclaimed Crimea for Russia- where it rightly belongs, he's cut off the Zelenskies from the sea, he's protected the pro-Russian Ukrainians of the Donbas and occupied over 20% of Ukraine - for starters.

What does success look like to you ?
