I am interested in if anyone is still predicting a red wave this November?

A few months ago it was all the Trumppers could talk about... Haven't heard much lately?

Are you predicting to take the Senate?

The latest meme seems to be that the search of #TRE45ON's abode and recovery of the stolen documents is going to energize the whacktoid base and get them out to vote in droves. I expect that by Nov., they'll have moved on to some other Poutrage du Jour.

NBC news had an odd little segment last night. It was about (R) strategy for the mid-terms. The first (R) analyst said that their current strategy is to hammer on wedge issues like CRT, "grooming," election cheating/fraud, poor poor Mr. Twump and how mean they all is to him, blah blah blah. But the second one said that the #1 issue the voters this year are concerned about is the economy and inflation, and that he believes that the candidates should be focusing on that rather than the stuff they're using now to excite the voters. IMO the 2nd guy is correct -- but will the actual candidates focus on that, or on the non-issues they're spouting about now?

It will be interesting what the closing arguments are, I saw a poll where the voters, by a large margin are saying the number one issue is protecting Democracy... so I think that cuts toward Democrats, but who knows.

Absolutely, people are looking forward to disposable income again, good returns on retirement plans, and in general having a President not getting lost on the White House lawn or falling off his bicycle.

I don't think the illegal census will help the GOP. Every time the GOP tries to put up road blocks, the Dems flood the polls overwhelmingly, even if it takes standing outside in the heat or cold for hours.

As determined as the GOP is to rule like monarchs, the Dems are equally determined to hand them their fat asses.

Which is why the Senate looks hopeful, but seriously gerrymandered districts have pretty much sequestered Democrats into small pockets in many states.
