Trump has about half of the ignorant republicans locked up, people like you. The other half is embarrassed by him and he has very few independents and no democrats. He would lose in a bigger than landslide than he already did. If Garland prosecutes him for his crimes he won't be able to run, he will be ineligible to run. If the administration wanted to use a govt agency against him they would elect to not prosecute him.
