To the extent it is one sided its because we have until recently been a strongly open and accepting Democratic nation and are enjoying the fruits of 250 years of immigrants coming here and making America Great. That does not mean we do not have problems and that they need to be worked on and that progress can rest, we still have to fight for a future that is open, accepting and embracing of newness. Because we are a nation largely of immigrants we do not fight to bring back an old tire past, we embrace a new bright future.
