IT appears Trump has committed two crimes...

Hello Jarod,

I am satisfied that he committed both of those crimes. I agree he should be prosecuted.

It is good to know that the DOJ is definitely conducting a criminal investigation into the conduct of Donald Trump while he was president. That much is out there. Everything else is quite the object of much curiosity. The DOJ is under no obligation to make public statements about the case. That is going to keep everyone guessing and nobody knowing until we hear more. It would probably be to the DOJ's disadvantage to make any public statements about the case, so don't expect much more.

Merrick Garland will have to decide if he can bring a case against Donald Trump. The decision will be based on whether or not he believes he can prove a case. Since it would be bad if he brought a case he could not prove, he needs to be as certain as possible that he has the goods on Trump. The January 6th Select Committee is uncovering more evidence as time goes by, so expect the DOJ to be patient to see what else comes to light.

Just can't get around to specifics, can ya?

WITCH! WITCH! Burn! Burn!

January 6, 2021 was 7 years ago? Wow.

Oh, so NOW you are going deny all the 'RussiaGate' BS, the Controlling the Covid Virus Conspiracy BS, Democrat attempts to blame Trump for their own failures in illegal immigration, Democrat attempts to blame Trump for their own disasters in the economy, Democrat attempts to blame Trump for their own sexual perversions, the BS about Trump's physical condition, and all the rest that stretched back to a YEAR BEFORE HE WAS EVEN ELECTED??????????!?

Pay attention, dumbass!

You can hope.all you like. If the leftists actually had something they would have brought it a long time ago. Smoke and mirrors.

Are you going to visit your messiah when he ends up in the slammer.

I couldn't care less about trump but you sure as shit do. If there were any chance he could be in jail you neutered morons would have brought the already. It's anaxing how stupid you are.

The evidence is clear Trump (and others in his circle) broke the following two criminal statutes.

18 USC Sec. 1512
(c)Whoever corruptly—
(1)alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object’s integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding; or
(2)otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so,
mshall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

18 USC Sec. 371
If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons
do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

If, however, the offense, the commission of which is the object of the conspiracy, is a misdemeanor only, the punishment for such conspiracy shall not exceed the maximum punishment provided for such
misdemeanor.

The question becomes... Should he be prosecuted?

the first question is whether any prosecutor thinks you're right.......the chances are slim......

Trump lawyers in talks with Justice Department about January 6 criminal probe

(CNN)Former President Donald Trump's legal team is in direct communication with Justice Department officials, the first sign of talks between the two sides as the criminal probe into January 6, 2021, accelerates, sources familiar with the matter tell CNN.

The talks revolve around whether Trump would be able to shield conversations he had while he was president from federal investigators.
In recent weeks, investigators have moved aggressively into Trump's orbit, subpoenaing top former White House officials, focusing on efforts to overturn the 2020 election and executing searches of lawyers who sought to aid those efforts.
