Why does Brittney Griner think she doesnt have to observe other countries laws?

I don't even know what Paul Whelan's politics are, and even if he is a Trump supporter, I hope Biden successfully gets both him and Griner out. The Russian justice system is corrupt, and it appears both of them were railroaded into prison on trumped up charges.

For all I know, Trevor Reed is a Republican, but I am still glad Biden got him out of a Russian prison

That's how Americans talk. Once someone is in a foreign jail on BS charges, I don't care what their politics are.

You'd think the worst someone would do if they didn't feel that way is to just stay quiet about it. But the OP felt like he had to go on a message board and let everyone know that he hopes for an American to "rot in jail".

It's a mark of character for someone to openly say they hope an American citizen rots in a Russian hellhole prison for supposedly having less than a gram of hash she has a perception for in the U.S.
