That is the case with goddam near EVERY item we buy from overseas. Shirts, coats, shoes, pants, shorts, computers, televisions, telephones, cars...goddam near EVERY ITEM.

You just cannot acknowledge that international trade is what it is...BECAUSE IT IS WHAT IT IS. You are not going to "cure" (whatever the hell that is supposed to mean) anything with tariffs, because return tariffs hurt Americans just as much, if not more, than our tariffs help us.
There is a world economy...and assholes like you who think there is a magic "cure" are morons for thinking so. Ancient Rome had an international economy. Ancient China did also.
We should be figuring out how to get other countries to make as much stuff for us so we can buy it cheaply.
WE DO NOT NEED MORE JOBS. We need better ways to get money in the hands of people so they can buy the needs of life...without them having to toil for the money. We can get others to do the work...to do the jobs. And when the cost of letting them do it gets too high, we should get robots and machines to do the work.
WE DO NOT NEED MORE FUCKING JOBS. WE NEED TO FINALLY GET OVER THE IDEA THAT CREATING JOBS (CREATING MORE WORK) IS A GOOD IDEA...BECAUSE IT IS NOT.
