I don't know for sure what you suppose "globalism" to be. For the most part, I see our economy as part of a world-wide economy...and anyone who thinks that we can be independent of that world-wide stance, is, IN MY OPINION, kidding themselves.

it's the idea that it's better to outsource jobs for short term profits instead of keeping jobs domestically for american workers to work at.

where do you stand on it?

I'm a capitalist...so I should be honoring the MAJOR CAPITALISTIC PROTOCOL: Make as much money as possible for the owners. (Return to capital investment trumps all other considerations.)

But I don't. I think that to be stupid. If a company can make more money by outsourcing rather than keeping those jobs for American workers...I feel they should keep the jobs for American workers even though there will be some diminution of earnings.

Most companies in America would tell me to fuck off. Most would tell me that NO American corporation has any societal obligation of the sort suggested here.
