Knowing the guy I actually found this story funny, but a (black) friend I've know since high school (his parents were involved with the Blank Panthers in Oakland) posted once on Facebook that after reading Malcolm X's biography as a kid he vowed never to do three things:
1) drink
2) smoke
3) date white women
Now he technically didn't say he wouldn't date an Hispanic or Asian girl but it kind of goes without saying. But takes some guts to write that IMO.

Definitely possible. I look at racial demographics in some states and I’m shocked at how few Hispanic and Asian people there are. I get not every place is California or Texas but it is eye opening when you’re so used to being around so many Asian and Hispanic folks.
