Wheels coming off as predicted

Yeah, because all the actions that the previous administration does just magically disappear when they step down, and the new President has less than a year to change everything DESPITE having to deal with the still functioning laws and regulations passed, due to the party line voting in the House & Senate.

Not saying Uncle Joe ain't living up to the campaign promises, but this "it's all Joe's fault" Just doesn't stand up to scrutiny in the cold light of day.

Dumbest and lamest bullshit I have seen. Had Biden left things the way they were we wouldn't be in the economic mess we are now. Be less of a hyper partisan, uneducated dumbass if that's even possible. :palm:

I’d rather bad economy and a Democratically elected president than a good economy and a fascist dictator who grabbed power after losing an election.

Biden is the one acting like a Fascist dumbass. If you could extract your empty head from your asshole, you could see the obvious.

But yes, morons would prefer massive inflation, gas prices double what they were and a crisis in Ukraine that is killing Europe's economy.
:palm:

It’s because it’s an incredibly stupid question. The economy is flooded with printed money decreasing the value of everybody’s money and wealth. To stay even with everyone else in the population you have no choice but to accept it. Unless you can state another way. Bet you can’t.

So you just had to accept the stimulus money (from the very "liberal/commie/fascist/democrat run welfare state gov't you claim to despise and blame for all your woes) in order to stem the decreasing value of the dollar and "stay even with everyone else".

:whoa::palm:

The last part of that drivel is SO ignorant it almost defies description. Like it or not, genius, if you were fortunate to still be working and pulling a salary at any level during the lockdown but took the stimulus money anyway, that makes you a hypocritical right wing wonk on par with Ayn Rand taking Social Security. And if you were unemployed, you damned sure needed the money, so all your right wing BS goes out the window and you get a taste of what others who became unemployed due to NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN over the years....and you just had to either admit your Ayn Rand/right wing wonk-ism were wrong or be a BS spewing hypocrite.

As I said before, the making Biden the sole perpetrator of the lousy economy is not exactly accurate...very disingenuous, as Trump's economic policies spill over to the next administration....just like Obama's did.

Deal with it.

That's easy. Restart the XL Pipeline. Allow drilling in Alaska. Defend the Southern Border, stop all the illegals flooding in and finish the border wall. Fire the entire cabinet and hire people with experience and brains. Stop pushing for failed primitive initiatives like wind and solar. Institute stronger Tariffs on China. Stop sending tax dollars to Ukraine. Work with Congress and allies to disband the Department of Education, the Department of HHS and the Department of Agriculture. Work with Congress to trash the current abomination of a tax code and institute the FAIR TAX initiative.

There's more. But the above would get things moving in the right direction. Of course, crime ridden shit hole cities run by Democrats will be the citizens of those states problems.

Precisely

Why would working Americans turn down the return of their own tax dollars while our tax dollars go to homeless meth heads in Commiefornia and NYC?

Your silly assed final commentary aside: The right wing wonks, the teabaggers, the neocons, the MAGA minions, the alt-right have all screamed about "welfare queens" their tax dollars supporting non-workers via Obamacare and such similar nonsense for decades. They wail like banshees about any social service program being a "false entitlement" that comes out of their pockets via taxes....and they bitched about social security.

But when the shit hit the fan via Covid, and the aforementioned fools found themselves in the same boat as millions of others (without work due to no fault of their own),t they STFU and took that money with a sigh of relief....just like they did when the Shrub hadn't out those checks.

THAT makes them hypocrites, toodles....because even now they STILL won't admit they were wrong about their assertions regarding welfare recipients and social security.

Got that? I hope so, because I don't want to repeat this six ways to Sunday while you stubbornly deny it.

Of course not. It’s a combination of bad policies. As you said, partially.
But dims have no right to complain about inflation and gas prices.
They wanted free money (causing inflation) and they wanted to curtail the supply of oil making gas more expensive thinking this would make for cooler summers and adding to inflation.
Well gas prices are higher and the summers are still hot. Maybe there really isn’t a correlation.
I just don’t understand why you people don’t want Brandon to run again. He and the dims in congress are giving you everything you wanted including a wide open border.

I don’t want him to run again because I don’t think he’s electable.

Stop the open border bullshit. It’s another lie you buy into.

Kudos on regurgitating the Trumpian platform with little thought toward long-term impact, cost and results. :hand:

no, but you will have lived in fear the rest of your life.
You're projecting. You're the one so much in fear that you are willing to risk everything violently overthrowing the nation.

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for the stock market to come back up.

I'm waiting for it to bottom out.

I've got my eye on quite a few things.

Dollar cost averaging helped me the last time. As soon as the news had the market falling, I started doubling down on my savings every paycheck and continued to do so for a few years until the market was at it's starting point.

This chart shows it bottomed-out in JAN09, but that's hard to predict. Just noting the downward slide is enough to make some money by doubling down. Bargain prices.

I don't get too excited by the share price of some of my holdings going down.

Every stock I buy pays a dividend, which is reinvested.

With a temporary lower share price, I'm realizing more shares every time the reinvestment occurs.

As you know...it's a long haul, not a sprint.
