Poor Josh. He must really be glad he wasn't treated the same way as the two poor black ladies in GA (Lady Ruby and her daughter) and poor Rusty in Arizona. With Rusty they'd actually set up a jumbo-tron across from his home calling him a pedophile and a pervert. Someone attacked his neighbor.

What's interesting about guys like Hawley and Trump - and most in that MAGA universe - is that they are truly shameless. I think I read that he was actually even using that fist pump in some campaign promos.

They're just not capable of shame, or any sort of introspection. It's pretty psychotic, in a way.

I remember when Missouri voted for (D)s and we had a (D) governor, senators and reps. Not no more. Like much of the country, due to the influx and influence of billions of corporate dollars, it has gone over the cliff and to the Dark Side -- the current Republican Party.

They'll elect Jumpin' Josh Flash again.

The GOP is such an embarrassment. In 10 years, Republicans will deny all of this, and ever supporting these people.

For sure greed is a small part of it. Mostly it is fear-mongering by Fox and the QOP with able assistance from ALEC, the NRA, RW talk radio, etc. Outside of KC and STL, Missouri is predominantly white and rural. The constant race-baiting and "you will be replaced" and "Democrats are gonna take your Bibles and your guns" has paid off. (R) gerrymandering has paid huge dividends as well. A good lot of St. Louis County, which used to vote (D), is now firmly in (R) hands due to gerrymandering. We still voted but had no voice.

Fear-mongering works on average to less-than-average people regardless of political flavoring. Notice that how the gun banners are sucked in with the fear of my high capacity magazines.

Agreed on the RW fear-mongering. Notice who it works on the most; the poorly educated. IMO, the solution is better education.
