Panel probing U.S. Capitol attack to hold July 21 prime-time hearing

Yes THOSE IN POWER WILL ALWAYS SEEK EVEN MORE POWER. That's why we have to be on constant guard against government and it's propensity for cancer like growth.

Yes. But "be on constant guard" does not mean throwing out the baby with the bath water, Sawyer. The GOP...mostly starting with Reagan, began to tell the people that government WAS THE PROBLEM. No nation can have its leadership be of that opinion, BECAUSE ITS FUCKING LEADERSHIP IS THE GOVERNMENT. THE PEOPLE, AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES ARE THE GOVERNMENT.

Nope just jerkoffs on Twitter who in no way REPRESENT America. Americans care about gas prices and food shortages not the perjury propaganda of the Pelosi Select Kangaroo Committee you delusional faggot.

YOU are one of the jerkoffs...and if you do not care about an insurrection and the complicity of that moron, Trump...then you are a traitor.

Where did I advocate any dependence on China? I simply pointed out the failure of the tariffs which nobody claims were successful.

Tariffs along with incentives for US business to take up the slack was Trumps plan and it was beginning to work. Biden kept tariffs but started simultaneously punishing US business as democrats are prone to do. That made tariffs counterproductive and is in part why we have shortages of merchandise.

Government was the problem then and Reagan subdued it. Unfortunately it's a problem again today and government was afraid Trump was the new Reagan. They were and still are trying to destroy him because of that.

decent citizens care about real issues.

only traitors and scum place value on the 1/6 lie.

:truestory:

There was no lie about the election...Trump lost...and lost huge.

There was no lie about the 1/6 insurrection...or about Trump's helping it happen and refusal to do anything to stop it.

Only the TRAITORS of the right refuse to see that.

And only traitors and scum feel that nobody cares about it.

Government was not the problem then...and government is not the problem now.

Reagan INCREASED the size of government significantly. Anyone who thinks he "subdued it" is nuts.

Trump is an abomination.

Tariffs were a big flop. Businesses just moved from China to Vietnam and other other Asian nations to which the tariffs did not apply.

Tariffs along with incentives for US business to take up the slack was Trumps plan and it was beginning to work.

No it wasn't.

Firstly, a year after the tax cut, that was promised by every single Conservative to lead to growth of at least 3% (actual annual growth: 2.85%, 0.04% less than Obama's best annual growth), business investment declined:

Trump handed big business a massive tax cut, and all he got in return was embarrassment
https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-gop-tax-cuts-economic-gdp-business-investment-failure-2020-1

And manufacturing plunged into a recession:

U.S. manufacturing was in a mild recession during 2019, a sore spot for the economy
https://www.washingtonpost.com/busi...mild-recession-during-2019-sore-spot-economy/

Then the rest of the economy entered a recession the month BEFORE COVID lockdowns, ending the longest economic expansion in the country's history, that Obama started (you're welcome):

Recession officially started in February, researchers say
https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/us-recession-started-in-february-researchers-say

Nothing about Conservative economics works...that's why every single GOP President since Nixon has left behind a stinking wreck of an economy for a Democrat to clean up.

Biden kept tariffs but started simultaneously punishing US business as democrats are prone to do.

Lies, lies, lies.

US businesses aren't being punished; in fact, they are seeing record profits because they are price gouging:

U.S. companies post their biggest profit growth in decades by jacking up prices during the pandemic

Nope.

The tariffs are doing exactly what you wanted them to do: increase costs to US consumers because China doesn't pay the tariff, the importer does and they pass that cost on to you, you fucking moron.

Reagan significantly decreased the size of the Soviet Union and in fact destroyed it and yes that was expensive but well worth it.

Which was a good thing. China is building it's aggressive military with America dollars spent on Chinese merchandise.

China has a looming demographic nightmare that is going to take them out of the equation probably by next decade.

Because of their "one child" policy, China simply didn't make enough babies in order to provide a workforce large enough to sustain the retirees.

And the US economy outpaced China's for the first time in 46 years thanks to Joe Biden:

US Growth Seen Outpacing China’s for First Time Since 1976

Reagan significantly decreased the size of the Soviet Union and in fact destroyed it and yes that was expensive but well worth it.

Reagan did not do shit with regard to the size of the Soviet Union...and he INCREASED the size of the American government by almost a half-million people.

What decreased the size of the USSR was the famine that ravaged it for most of the 1980's.

That, along with perestroika, is what brought about the collapse of the USSR, not anything we did.

We had nothing to do with the famine, and we had nothing to do with perestroika.
