The Nazi ideology is alive and well. Just like how David Duke changed the face of the KKK by putting on a suit, stopped using the n-word and only talked about "preserving White Heritage", the smarter Nazis are also wearing suits and lobbying in DC. IMHO, Trump, never much of an invertor/creator, rode on the wave of militant anti-government groups that had clearly merged with the white supremacist groups in the fallout of the 1960s.
The Turner Diaries came out in 1978. As FM took over the music waves, talk radio took over AM; the frequency of those limited to older tech and couldn't get FM...at least that's the way I remember it. I had an AM radio as a kid. A
pocket radio, which was pretty cool.
A strain of Nazism/White Supremacy exists throughout all the Northern nations. Some big, some small. I'm ashamed for my country that we've allowed failures in society to allow such groups to ferment.
Consider BLM. People protest in an inverse correlation to their happiness. Too much unhappiness can lead to riots. Both the BLM protests and 1/6 coup/riot are examples of very unhappy people, self-segregated as a group, to attack their own society.
The fun part is figuring out what drove them to these extremes. The hard part is figuring out what to do about it.
