The fourth-largest U.S. oil refiner, Phillips 66 (PSX.N), shipped about 470,000 barrels of sour crude from the Big Hill SPR storage site in Texas to Trieste, Italy, according to U.S. Customs data. Trieste is home to a pipeline that sends oil to refineries in central Europe.

Atlantic Trading & Marketing (ATMI), an arm of French oil major TotalEnergies (TTEF.PA), exported 2 cargoes of 560,000 barrels each, the data showed.

It was streamlined he is the red tape he put bans on new leases and permits, rescinded existing ones, and implemented $50 per ton carbon fine.

Like I said, it was in the Big Bucks Blunder plan to sell off the SPR. It's in an appendix towards the end of the bill. There was funding allocated to do it and the proceeds would be rolled back into the BBB to pay for 'stuff.' Joke planned to do this all along.

There is no appendix.
There is no mention of the "Strategic Petroleum Reserve" or of "SPR"
The only "petroleum reserve" mentioned is the Naval Petroleum Reserve in Alaska and all that does is remove the ability of the Secretary to waive or reduce lease or rental fees.

So unless you have an actual link or verbiage, I call bullshit on your claim.

Russia invaded Ukraine. Europe is reducing their purchases of Russian oil. The only way to do that is for other sources to be found.
Oil is fungible. Unless you are demanding that Biden nationalize US oil fields and take over oil companies oil sells worldwide to the highest bidder.

Then buy more oil from the Saudis the idea that we're selling them our strategic reserves is insane. Oil is not fungible releasing strategic reserves into the US for US consumption has an immediate impact on US prices not global prices you dumb lying fuck.

I was mistaken. It was in the Trillion dollar infrastructure bill that passed already.

The House on Tuesday passed a resolution that paves a path for passage of a $1 trillion infrastructure bill that contains more than $500 billion in new spending. A final vote could come in September. The White House confirmed in June that SPR sales would help pay for the government investments, which would include spending on roads and bridges.
