Biden administration poised to raise gas costs another dollar or more

The region is spewing filth into the air since fracking began. The companies that went bankrupt left uncapped wells releasing toxins into the air.

Why do you think this is a bad idea? Fuel price hikes are caused by a decrease in production in order to increase profits. Not regulations.
REgulations cause decreased production . moron.

Yep, Joke is doubling down on stupid. This time he is allowing the EPA to impose very tight ozone pollution standards--ones that will do NOTHING for cleaner air. These new standards will severely curtail new drilling in the Permian Basin, as well as impose significant costs on producing wells in pollution controls. This is a variant of earlier EPA attempts to lower ozone pollution standards in urban areas of the US from 75 ppb (virtually nothing) to 70 ppb at a cost of roughly $100 billion a year.
This is ENTIRELY Joke Biden's fault. It 100% belongs to him. If allowed to go into force--and it looks like it will--gas prices will rise by as much as $2 a gallon over where they are now.

Fuck Joke Biden! Now officially by polling the worst President in modern history.

Trolls and liars like you are either too stupid and/or menacing at not admitting it is not a president that sets oil gas pries but greedy oil companies:

U.S. lawmakers slam Big Oil for high gasoline prices

WASHINGTON, April 6 (Reuters) - Oil executives defended themselves in the U.S. Congress on Wednesday from charges by lawmakers that they are gouging Americans with high fuel prices, saying that they are boosting energy output and no one company sets the price of gasoline.

Members of the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations grilled companies on why gasoline prices remain elevated even though prices have dropped for crude oil.

U.S. gasoline prices have surged since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February and after Western countries slapped sanctions on Moscow's energy exports. Pump prices hit a record, before inflation, of $4.33 a gallon on March 11, and since then have slipped about 4% to $4.16 a gallon, according to the AAA motorist group.

In the same time frame, U.S. gasoline futures have fallen more than 7% to $3.07 a gallon as international crude prices have dropped more steeply, more than 9%,to about $102.11 a barrel."

$5 gas is largely Putin’s fault

The United States has hit another uncomfortable milestone: $5 gas is now the norm. More than 20 states have prices above the $5 mark (California is above $6 a gallon), according to AAA. Record gas prices are a daily reminder of how different the current economy is from what many Americans are accustomed to: Inflation is at a four-decade high, and interest rates are rising at a pace not seen in two decades. People are anxious about this economy. Consumer sentiment is at a record low since the University of Michigan began tracking it in the mid-1970s.

This is largely Vladimir Putin’s fault. Gas prices are up nearly $2 in the past year, and 75 percent of that increase came since Putin’s Russian troops invaded Ukraine. The United States and many other countries rightly responded to this unjustified war by imposing heavy sanctions and halting purchases of Russian oil and grain. But that means supplies are down, and energy and food prices have soared to record highs around the world. Putin wants — and expects — the world to cave and lift the sanctions and cede parts of Ukraine to Russia in the face of these high prices. As hard as it is, we cannot let Putin win."

Biden orders 'unprecedented' release of oil reserves
US President Joe Biden has ordered a major release of oil from America's reserves in an effort to bring down high fuel costs.

The release of up to 180m barrels of oil over six months is the largest since the reserve was created in 1974.

Oil prices dropped on reports of the move, which is aimed at easing a supply crunch sparked by war in Ukraine.

But the release - of about 1m barrels a day - is unlikely to fully resolve the energy crisis, analysts say.

Mr Biden promised further action to boost US output, saying the release would "serve as [a] bridge until the end of the year when domestic production ramps up".

He called for companies to pay extra if they choose not to use oil wells on land they lease from the government, as well as investments to speed up the adoption of greener energy sources."

Biden Demands Whoever The President Is Take Full Responsibility For This Mess

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In a forceful press conference today, Biden called for whoever the President is to "clean up this mess."

"Listen folks, this is ridiculous!" said President Biden. "Who's running this country anyway? I demand accountability! The President must be held responsible for this debacle!"

An aide attempted to whisper in his ear that he was the President, but Biden whirled around and punched the aide right in the nose in a flurry of righteous anger.

"How dare you sneak up on me while I'm holding the President to account!" said Biden.

The press conference was then abruptly interrupted by the evening call to prayer.

What does any of that--ANY OF THAT-- have to do with Biden's EPA imposing new stricter air quality rules on the Permian Basin oil operations?

Ridiculous as in the Environnmental Protection Agency does not dictate oil prices but that of an entirely different area. Yet consider your piece off lawlessly hacked in shit tRump and his sewer mob waged war on the EPA as in the environment, pristine lands, wildlife, water aquifers etc. Yet, thanks to President Biden for restoring the integrity of the Environmental Protection Agency that deals with issues at mitigating issues with pollution, waste management, land management and water management issues, etc.:

I trust the Governor of the largest oil and gas producing state over a left wing nut job any day of the week.

I know you do. He loves your AR15s as much as you do and is fine with 18 year-olds being given them to kill children.

Figures you love the guy. He hates Mexicans as much as you do as well. You should see if he can make you Texas Gun Czar. You can make sure, not only all little girls have to carry their rape babies to term, but when they come out, they get a free AR15 to sleep with in their cribs!

Me too. Nah, no AR-15 for me, but an M1-A .308 cal. Much more powerful and more accurate. And it's an authentic (that means real) military issued weapon.
I had more guns than he did at that age, I didn't shoot nobody because I was taught not to. Teach your kids not to shoot up schools. It worked for my generation.

Shit. You mean all we had to do was to find Ramos before he killed those kids and just taught him not to? You're a fucking genius, Princess.

Thanks, we'll know next time.

Douche.
