CNN Ghouls: Kids in Foster Care, Disabled Relatives Should've Been Aborted

In the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade on Friday, the ugly mask worn by the liberals of CNN slipped to show the ugliness underneath as CNN Newsroom host Alisyn Camerota and faux “Republican” commentator and co-host of The View, Ana Navarro made the ghoulish argument that kids in foster care and relatives with cognitive disabilities should show the obvious need for abortion.

What she was saying is that a lot of women and their families are not in a financial position to properly care for ANY child, normally developed or handicapped. Forcing these women to give birth even if the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest or both, ESPECIALLY if the child turns out to have special needs, is among the most cold, callous, politically pandering and calculated abuses of power imaginable in this country and in this day and age.

I'm sure your first impulse is to parrot the same old response we've all heard a million times before.... "Well, they should have used contraception - they should have engaged in abstinence - etc, etc, etc..."

IOW, more of the same old coulda-shoulda-woulda.

Too bad that like most lame-ass conservative suggestions for solutions, it solves nothing in the real world.

People get horny. They have sex. Females get pregnant involuntarily.

The only things that have been accomplished here are....

1) conservatives have scored political points with the low IQ Bible thumpers and redneck morons who vote for them,

2) makers and sellers of the abortion pill will see a windfall increase in the sales of their products which will in time, probably INCREASE the number of abortions rather than decrease them, and

3) the two Trump appointees, Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh have branded themselves forever as craven liars and political hacks for having sworn under oath that they respected legal precedent including that set by 50 years of affirmative rulings on Roe v Wade, then turning around 180° and doing exactly the opposite.

It has become glaringly obvious that the Repugnant right has become the party of lies, dishonesty, misinformation and end justifies the means politics.

And that the whole anti-abortion movement only exists because conservatives hate sex and they hate women who enjoy it.

Most likely out of jealousy and envy.

So what you're saying is that she believes that unless someone is completely financially responsible and emotionally ready to take on a child they shouldn't have them? And always keep in the back of your mind that that child could be emotionally or physically disabled even if the child is wanted...then what? I'm so sad that she disgraced her family by airing their stories... truly truly just a horrible thing to do..And I will say it absolutely be more responsible.. your theory about the anti-abortion movement is a keeper:laugh: abortion is not birth control and this change is going to remind everyone of that...

You know what's crazy? Companies offering cash incentives for their employees to terminate their babies... But not offering options to help with adoption... Or keeping the child...

The logical conclusion from that statement is that you believe they should have been aborted.

Would you support an abortion ban if there was an exemption for the less than 1% of abortions cases that are a result of rape and incest?
