Simone Gold, MD, JD, a leader in the anti-vaccine movement and founder of noted anti-vaccine group America's Frontline Doctors, has been sentenced to 2 months in prison for her role in the storming of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

In March, the former emergency room physician pleaded guilty to unlawfully and knowingly entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds. As a part of the plea agreement, additional charges of obstructing an official proceeding and intent to disrupt the orderly conduct of government business were dropped. Although she insisted at the time that her actions were peaceful, Gold did admit, according to news reports, that she witnessed the assault of a police officer while inside the building.

the two cases won in January weren't filed by Trump......but they did find that the elections in two states were conducted in violation of the constitution........it amazes me that lib'ruls are not bothered by that.....

I doubt she would permanently lose her license for a trespassing charge. BTW Do you think Steven Coebert's crew will be fired for doing the same thing?

Not enough time. She should be in prison for at least 20 years.

2 months is nothing...she should be in there for at least 200 months.

She is a MD JD and they are very much in demand. A conservative law firm will snap her up. She was just convicted of a misdemeanor. So it isn't a career killer. Most MD JD first become Drocs then find they don't like practicing medicine then go to law school. She is worth about $5 million.

They were shown out of the Capitol and then returned and illegally re entered and roamed the Capitol before they were arrested. They were caught illegally trespassing in the capitol just like Gold was. There is ZERO evidence Gold broke into the building.
