Did any right winger watch the Jan. 6 Hearing?

Points for creativity, though. "Pelosi & Schumer are to blame for 1/6" is a new one.

Oh they tried it early on

It was flushed immediately by all logical thinking

But hey

All the right has left is illogical fantasies and rebaked lies

So the go with them

It always has been

No, when I met him he was not. He was way-right leaning but friendly and cheerful.

Then twump lost the election. He wasn't the only one who lost his mind. Several right-leaning folk did the same thing (talking about my last forum) and just raged out. Now you can't even reach folk like Express. It's fear. Fear of having to deal with a changing world.

Plus a whole lot of racism and bigotry- Geez!

Our founders risked everything they had: property, family, their own lives.

The modern Republican Party is terrified to stand up to a liar & grifter.

The modern Republican Party is a disgrace.

This is worse than Watergate but back then, all the Republicans in Congress knew that what Nixon did was wrong and they knew Nixon had to go and they helped get rid of him.
Now, you've got RepubliQans in Congress crawling up Trump's asshole to stay in power and parroting his Big Lies.

It's not the same Republican Party I was registered with for 30 years. Trump has destroyed the party and it will take years/decades to recover.

Russo bot holes start out like that

Some even start out as liberals

I have outed ones that pretended liberal for years

All on the liberal side right up until a candidate is chosen

Then they rail at that candidate like they are evil incarnate

Motivation is the key

Watch what “people” say and what might motivate their opinions

The second they begin to sway people with things that are provably wrong it’s a tip

The second you realize they are refusing to accept FACTS and reasoning they need to be pounced on

Even back in those days they were defending Nixon

But then the TAPE was broadcast

There was no Fox News to convince the stupid that the tape was fake news

I keep an eye out but I do consider myself a pretty good Nazi/troll detector. I recognize patterns in responses. But even if someone's faking their lean, it's not that big a deal. I'm not going to have these guys babysit for me or anything.. it's all in fun.

WAIT are you trying to tell me something about YOU?? <gasp> AND I TRUSTED YOU!! :(

It Took A Long Time For Republicans To Abandon Nixon
By Amelia Thomson-DeVeaux

On July 23, 1974, Rep. Lawrence Hogan, Sr., a Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, bought airtime on TV networks across his home state of Maryland. He had a big announcement to share: Hogan was the first Republican on the House Judiciary Committee to publicly say he would vote to impeach Nixon. It was just over two weeks before Nixon would announce his resignation, and the Judiciary Committee was poised to approve three articles of impeachment against the president — except nobody knew that yet.

I saw some of it in the Mexican restaurant I was dining at. I was full of half truths and lies like 5 capitol police lost their lives as a result of the riot. What a steaming pile of horse shit.

They were all crisis actors

Just ask Alex Jones

Fox can now convince people those people were antifa

Or

That it was a big hoedown and no one was fighting

They were having fun and celebrating

Any insane thing will be believed by the cult members

The Republican Party would have protected Nixon if they could have gotten away with it

They couldn’t

So they heaved his sloppy ass under the bus

They all bowed their heads and fake sniffled repeating

“Oh how …… just how could Nixon have fooled us soooo long?

They then continued right on with all the cheating of black voters they could muster for decades

The party has been a shit loaf of con men all my life

It needs to die

Which is why Nixon and Ailes thought up the idea of Fox

Then Alies found the right con man with enough money to back it
