Yeah, no. Everybody had guns from 1900 on and nothing on the scale of the 2000s ever happened. Up until the 30s people could have whatever guns they wanted, full-auto or whatever.
Then the restrictions started..on full-auto, suppressors; Wtf?!
Just because of a few gangsters who rose to prominence due to prohibition (that government started) the government came down hard on the people for nothing.
I sez: Fuck that! Full-Auto and silencers for everyone and the time for the ATF ended when prohibition was repealed.
Also every American should be able to carry in whatever method they choose to.
That IS in line with the 2nd amendment and the American way of life.
When I was in HS, people were making 4-slot gun racks in shop class, and then the announcement came over the intercom: "From now on, only 2 guns allowed per vehicle in the parking lot."
People were mad, bro. I was making one for a friend at the time. I rode a motorcycle, but a friend wanted one.
I made the gun rack, and he put only 2 guns in the 4-slot gun rack while on the school campus.
Still it was kinda sad.
My only consolation is knowing he made use of the full potential of the gun rack while not on school grounds.
A couple dudes tried to slide with extra guns, it did not go well for them.
