Durham was stymied by the statue of limitations, he had a text from James Baker (the FBI’s former general counsel who received the text from Sussmann), but it couldn't be used. It was a statement, directly from Sussmann, in which he falsely claimed he was not representing any client in purveying to the FBI derogatory information about Donald Trump.

She did not. I was adopted when I was 7 hours old by a wonderful single mother who couldn’t have children (I was a stunningly beautiful infant, she couldn’t resist my twin sister and I). Fortunately we had a republican president, so there was plenty of baby formula.
