There are people who are right of center that I can have a respectful conversation with, but nobody on the far right. They are all too full of anger, and they seem to be just looking for somebody to dump on. I come for political discussion, not to be an enabler for internet abuse.

I mean.. I don't care if people here call me "woke" or a "libtard", or even, "motherfucker". One of the guys I'm chatting with here, calls me a curse word every sentence. Its just the way he talks and I really have no problem with it.

Cruelty, cynicism, sociopathy, evil.. when I see those traits exhibited, that's when I "dump" them. Some have been none to happy about it - a couple of the iggys followed me around for a day, trying to get me to notice them and I can't be happier to not have to deal with them any longer.

Just be honest and don't be cruel. Those are my only requirements. After that, call me a "libtard motherfucker" and I'll still be your friend.

No matter how you slice it, it's a stupid move to make available a more deadly and effective weapon to a younger age, as Abbott did. Even if you have ONE mass shooting every 5 years because of this, that's one too many.

At cowardly failing to defend society against a domestic terrorist attack, the so-called officers of the law who live it up on the taxpayer money, have disgraced those Stetson hats they so proudly adorned themselves with. This is a terrible disgrace and shame to the State of Texas as a result of the failure of so-called republican leadership there. It is time to give the true-blue wave a chance to have complete leadership who have been standing up and defending Democracy and humanity to the best of its ability and interests in the midst of repukes' efforts to destroy all goodwill efforts of democrats and the wellbeing of society and humanity, and their terrible actions against society and humanity proves this to be true. Vote blue wave.

My friend, it's because those poor kids' parents didn't contribute enough to the Uvalde tax base that they had to die. Had it been in an affluent/ritzy neighborhood, those cops would have risked their lives to rush in and save the kids right away. None of the locals are surprised the cops didn't act.

Lurch. It’s wrong to try to scream racism to try to make political points. Shame on you my friend for trying to score political point on the graves of children. The boss I charge was Hispanic as was the majority of Uvalde’s police force who arrived on scene first.

Friend. I know people in the area. No one was surprised that the cops let the kids die in their own blood. Dude, I'm really trying to calm down here, but your party is fucked.

Lurch I also know people down there and to blame racism when the kids the shooter and the police chief and the MAJORITY of the responding cops were Hispanic is just trying to score cheap political point over the deaths of kids.

I have advocated for self closing and locking metal doors. They should have a vestibule area that has two sets of doors �� that require buzzing in by school personnel who can see the person on CCTV . Schools need to train and arm selected teachers . They need to train with the PD yearly They need to shoot on a range monthly. They need to conceal carry in school. They should be paid a stipend. But of course the liberals just want to go after ARs or maybe all guns. If they do murders will just use machete or lives to kill like some gangs already do. We protect banks with controlled access and armed personnel . Our kids are more valuable than money.

Do you honestly think this was racism when the shooter the kids the police chief and the majority of the first responding officers were all Hispanic???? Now be honest with me. Screaming racism when there is none just divides people and is harmful . I’m sure you would rather find a realistic solution. There are ~ 16 million ARs out there and more murders are committed with blunt objects than ARs . If you really wanted to decrease murders you would ban 38 cal revolvers the gun used in most murders. My friend we need to harden the target and arm selected teachers. My school had ex marineIs and current sheriff reservist as teachers. There is no reason they couldn’t be trained to protect themselves and students. Police are just people that have training. Teachers can be taught to do the same. Spend some money on retrofitting the schools and on stipends for designated armed teachers.
