Not that I disagree with McCarthy, but that is not even a drop in the bucket of what needs to be done to prevent this.
Anyone with an assault weapon could circumvent a door and someone guarding it. A couple of well placed bullets and you're in!
A simple plastic explosive would render any door lock useless. They have been used in Mass Shootings before- many times!

Just about all these politicians send their kids to private safe schools.They could care less about our families or our kids unless mom is pregnant and contemplating ending it.
If only we banned doors, then no one could get in or out of buildings, and there would be no more crime... Or so the Republicans are now arguing.

Those poor people in Uvalde showed remarable restraint not to rush the stage yesterday during that arrogant "press conference" where he actually praised "the bravery of the cops".

There could be a shooting at a private school in Texas. The difference is, in private schools most of the kids are white - so the cops would not wait in the hall. Rich kids deserve protection. Those poor Uvalde kids skin color was too brown for the cops to care.
