I worked in San Antonio, only a few miles from Uvalde, for over a decade. I was just there a couple of weeks ago. That community is mostly Latino. I got to practice my Spanish there a lot. Did you notice there was no translator during the DPS press conference despite the cries for one? Oh man :(

Apparently this kid was able to walk in, but the cops just couldn't so they called the real cops (who also have no duty to protect folks) to help them.

Seriously, this is what they pay cops to do, put yourself in danger to protect us from this jackwipe. If I were the mayor I'd fire whomever gave the order to wait and call the Border Patrol. This "I can't get in, we need other cops to protect us!" crap is beyond unbelievable.

Yeah. So. About that. I can't get the picture of the little kids standing over their dead friends crying. I can't believe the horror the people of San Antonio WHERE I WORKED FOR OVER A DECADE AND WAS JUST THERE 2 WEEKS AGO - are going though right now.

So I'm not going to try to convince you - you're indoctrinated into this "cold dead hand" bullshit obviously. I'll just say if your are grieving, like I am, I wish you well.

Oh, I'm sure you mourn a lot of things, but we both know that you will always have a very extra special place in your heart for fatalities that involve firearms, especially if they are legally owned firearms. ;)
