This morning in Seattle, U.S. District Judge Marsha Pechman sentenced Struve to 48 months in prison, three years of probation and mental health counseling, saying, "The bottom line is people simply should not have these things and that's why we have laws against them."

A quick, though admittedly not thorough, search of the constitution came up with 0 results for the term "machine gun." That leads me to believe she has read the constitution and was following federal law, which state federal courts have no authority to circumvent.

The only thing I could find in the constitution was the word "arms," which clearly must include nukes and rocket launchers.

therefore, if its not in the constitution, the feds have no control over them. that 'shall not be infringed' thing is tough to re-interpret as well unless you're a liberal.

Considering the net results would be the same either way - waco where lots of people die and the government wins anyway - it would be hard to change my mind. Also, there's no way you'll ever convince anyone who's not a retarded as you that you should be allowed to possess nukes. We don't even let other countries possess nukes if we can help it.

nukes and Machine guns are not the same in any sense of the word. Once again it is an attempt at creating a strawman argument that you think wins. 99% of all legal fire arms are never used for illegal purposes in this country. we have almost one gun per person in the US. When you evaluate the number of gun crimes compared to 300 million guns owned in the US they are used incorrectly less often than automobiles. Just because some of them fire rounds faster does not mean they are going to be used for illegal purposes more often.
