SCOTUS opinion leaked: Roe v Wade

are you implying that women are so stupid that they don't understand that sex can lead to pregnancy?

Are you implying that men are so stupid that they don't understand that sex can lead to pregnancy ? Would you deny a woman pregnant by a stupid man the right to terminate his stupid offspring

Roe was ruled on in the 1973. Abortion is not illegal under Federal law and has never been illegal under Federal law. The current draft ruling clearly sends the decision whether to make abortion illegal back to the states. So let me ask you again. Why would they have to write a specific law to say an embryo and a fetus were legal victims in 2004 if it had always been the case prior to that?

Once again state law already prohibited abortion and once again they needed a specific law because federal law was specifically written to protect the "right" of abortion by denying personhood status to the unborn. Are you saying that people didn't have personhood until the federal statute against murder was written in 1948?

Again you are just playing semantics as soon you won't have bad law or word games to hide behind as it is an incontrovertible biologocal fact that unborn babies are just as much human persons as the unborn and soon that fact will be codified into law in the vast majority of states, but whether or not it is codified doesn't change the fact that their people and killing them is murder.

If the states outlaw abortion it is through the normal political process of the state legislature and governor to decide.

Sounds like accurate reporting.

There are 13 states that have laws that automatically ban abortion the moment SCOTUS overturns Roe.

So whenever that decision is formally released, women in the following states will be prohibited from getting an abortion under any circumstances:

Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming

Of course not.

If the leaked document is borne out by the decision, the matter will be relegated to the states.

Nothing brings out misogyny more than the debate about abortion.

Think so?

This appears to be a question of law. How does that translate into "misogyny"?

No women will be denied an abortion should the Court's decision reverses Roe vs Wade, BTW. They just might have to travel.

It has been explained to you, you just reject the science because you're a fucking moron.

Yes according to you the delivery mechanism by which they receive food, water, and oxygen is what separates a 9 month old that has traveled through a woman's vagina and one who hasn't because you are an infanticidal piece of shit who must travel further and further down the path of depravity and malice lest you turn and see yourself as the evil person that you are.

Seems to me that the most direct and efficient method of dealing with this resurgent insanity is to off a couple of anti-abortion supremes. Who'd miss 'em ?

After all- nobody censored ' The Pelican Brief '

Haw, haw......................................haw.

Wrong Rosko  Check out the 3rd graph on this page.

Your source is bunk and doesn't link to any data I can review...all links at the bottom of your link are dead.

And there is this "In 2019, over 672,000 children spent time in U.S. foster care."

"Spent time" means what?

That they were in the system, but aren't now.

So what's the current number of kids in the system? Not how many have passed through it in addition to who's currently in it.

I understand. And those laws were passed by the state legislature and signed by the governor through the normal legislative process. They have that authority if Roe is thrown out.

The "delivery system" is biological when it's a fetus.

You stupidly asked for the biological difference between a fetus and a baby and apparently, you completely forgot about the fact that fetuses are bound to their mother by an umbilical cord and embryonic sac.

What do you think happens when a woman's water breaks???

During any given years kids go in and out of the system. So 672 K kids spent time in the FC system in 2019.

Not just Roe, but Griswold, Loving, and Brown are also on the cjhopping block now.

The real goal of this isn't to end abortion; Conservatives don't give a shit about it...they want to bring back segregation:

The Real Origins of the Religious Right
They’ll tell you it was abortion. Sorry, the historical record’s clear: It was segregation.

William F. Buckley famously wrote less than a year after Brown v. Board of Education: "Conservatism stands athwart history, yelling stop".

That should tell you exactly who these people are and what they want to achieve.

And if that doesn't scare you, then either you feel your status will insulate you from anything (SPOILER ALERT: It won't), or that it's simply not your problem to care about the rights of other people.
