Twitter didn't cancel or shut down opposing viewpoints. It did, however, have terms of use, such as restrictions against sharing certain disinformation articles or hard-core porn. I don't know what restrictions this particular oligarch will put on the forum once it's his to do with as he pleases. You don't know either. We will see.

Because news articles about things like Baby Brandon's laptop will be allowed some room on the public forum, now that it isn't a leftist propaganda machine and willing to kill real stories that they think will "hurt" the left they think that doom will fall upon them. The same people that stayed on TwitLer while Trump was in office up until now will continue to stay on the new and improved Twitter now that it isn't a "safe space" for killing stories they don't want to read. I mean, they literally followed Trump through every mean tweet for 5 years... until he was banned..

I have never had a Twatter account. Now I'm tempted to sign up. When it was created, it didn't make sense to me because I'm not a celebrity or professional who would have a following. Having played around with Parler and GETTR, I can somewhat see the use for it, aside from embedding parody tweets into threads.
