an argument that you must accept a buy offer is ridiculous - even for a publicly traded company. you can't prove the board did not honestly view the long term outlook exceeds the offer made.

but when they do stuff like throw in poison pills - which actually harm the value for current owners - than you have a sound argument in that regard!

The management has a responsibility to the stockholders, and Musk's offer would substantially raise the value of that stock. The only reason Twitter doesn't want to sell is political and the SEC doesn't consider that a reason not to.

The poison pill defense doesn't violate SEC rules in that the stockholders don't lose value, only gain shares in number equally. It involves a stock split that is legal. The problem is that while it might stave off a takeover, current investors and venture capitalists may bail on the company leaving it worse off than before the strategy took place.

There's no Android version of Truth Social at the moment, however, that's expected to change in the not-too-distant future. The Truth Social website says its Android app is 'coming soon' to the Google Play Store. There's no confirmed date for when that'll happen, but it's definitely something that's in the works.
